It's been a long time. I decided to look at some of the old sites I use to visit frequently and while at Stray Bullet Games, I ran into a link to the Shadowbane Emulator site. To my surprise, it sounds like they might actually get it working. When, I do not know, but just the thought of it brings back a lot of good memories. Any way, I thought I should see if anyone else was following its development, or at least if anyone was still interested, or if everyone has moved on. www.shadowbaneemulator.com/ |

I visit it to and try to stir up some fecal abomination ever now and then.
I'd be interested in some SB with some GOOD friends if they get it back together.

From what I gather, February seems to be the date they are looking at. (At least for a beta). I really miss SB. No other games like it.

Personally, I'm somewhat concerned about the kind of server stability you'd expect from a community emulator. Guess it'll be worth taking a look at for nostalgia's sake at any rate.

In a word, yes. Having said that, it could be better. All depends on what kinda' box they're willing to put up toward it.
